The sealing gasket provides a bearing surface for fastener load distribution or is used as a spacer between components.

The VMQ seal is good electrical insulation, heat and cold resistance, ozone resistance, weather resistance, and is easy to install.
Mainly used in wrench type quick connector sealing in the chemical industry, metallurgy, machinery, electronics, electrical appliances, etc.

Silicone offers excellent aging, ozone and temperature resistance. It is rated to withstand temperatures up to +400 F and also offers good low temperatures down to -40 F. Specification Grade Silicone's can go as high as +500 F or as low as -197 F.
